Favourite campaign of 2021 and why?
Farmers Protest (India). The diversity of the Farmers Protest is inspiring. So many people from different age groups, religions, locations, languages and backgrounds have come together to show solidarity to farmers in India. Their use of social and digital media has elevated domestic policies globally and has created an international community from East to West, gaining solidarity from global superstar Rihanna and global campaigner Greta Thunberg.
Who is your communicator of the year?
Marcus Rashford MBE for gracefully communicating the plights and difficulties of millions of families and children in the UK and making a change at the same time.
Person of the year?
Too many worthy individuals to just pick one… but as a group, I would pick the frontline staff of the NHS.
Favourite comfort food?
Hot chocolate (not really a food though!)
