Launched Career Girl Collective, a newly established platform that aims to educate and empower women writers

Lateefah is a PR professional and freelance journalist from London. Amplifying the voices and experiences of communities who are often overlooked is not only something she is passionate about but is at the heart of all the projects she works on. As well as her full-time job, she does a bit of freelance work for a marketing communications agency.

This year, Lateefah also launched Career Girl Collective, a newly established platform that aims to educate and empower women writers.

Favourite campaign of 2021 and why?

Sephora’s ‘Black Beauty is Beauty’ campaign. I love to see well-executed campaigns that highlight the experiences and influence black people have (and continue to have) in society.

Person of the year?

Patricia Bright because she is literally everywhere doing everything, and I love to see it!
